Service pricing
Fixed-price jobs have a $25 minimum service charge. Renaming, conversion, unusual requests and jobs needing clarification receive a reviewed quote.
Two return-shipping choices
Provide your own prepaid return label, or ask Data Job Shop to include return shipping in the final approved total. You are responsible for shipping media to Data Job Shop.
The final total is confirmed before payment. No public rate table is used because the details of a batch can materially change the work required.
How it works
The quote form starts the conversation. It is not a payment form and it is not permission to ship media.
- Request a quote.Describe the batch, quantity, media and approximate data size. Standard requests may receive a service estimate immediately.
- The job is reviewed.Any missing technical details, return shipping and the final total are confirmed by email.
- Pay after approval.If the job is accepted, you receive a Stripe-hosted checkout link. Card details are not entered on this site.
- Ship after payment.The receiving address, private return-address form and packing instructions are provided after payment.
- Work and return.The requested processing is completed and the media is returned using the shipping arrangement approved for the order.
How your order is handled
- No charge at submission. Every request is reviewed before payment.
- No early shipment. The receiving address is sent only after approval and payment.
- Less personal data up front. The quote form asks only for a return ZIP or postal code when return shipping needs to be quoted. Your full address is collected later through a private link.
- Limited file access. Submitted files and media are accessed only as reasonably needed to perform, verify or troubleshoot the requested job or address a safety issue.
- Customer-supplied media. Data Job Shop processes the drives and cards you provide; it does not sell the media.
- Not data recovery. Unreadable or unsafe devices may be rejected or returned without processing.

Do I pay when I request a quote?
No. The request does not charge you or commit you to the job. Payment is requested only after review and approval.
When should I ship my media?
Only after the job has been approved and paid. The receiving address and job-specific shipping instructions are provided then.
How do I provide digital master files?
Submit the quote first. Transfer instructions are arranged during review. Do not email sensitive files or send unsolicited download links.
Can I send used media that already contains files?
Yes, for approved jobs. Clearly identify any source device that must not be overwritten and keep a separate backup of anything important.
Do you provide USB drives, cards or external drives?
No. The services listed here use customer-supplied media and storage devices.
How is media consolidation priced?
The estimate considers the number of source devices, approximate total data, destination-drive count and return shipping. The final total is confirmed during review.
Is this a data-recovery service?
No. Media that cannot be read reliably may be rejected or returned without processing.
How long does an order take?
Timing depends on quantity, data size, media speed and condition, requested verification and shipping. Any estimate is not a guaranteed completion date.
